Legislative Engagement, Information & Tools (LEIT) Program: Strengthening community led advocacy for people with developmental disabilities across Washington State.
The Washington State Developmental Disabilities Council is now accepting proposals for the Legislative Engagement, Information & Tools (LEIT) program. This two year project provides $120,000 per year, with the opportunity to renew annually through September 2031. The goal of the LEIT program is to help people with developmental disabilities and their families have a stronger voice in public policy, protect their rights, improve fair access to services, and support systems that are culturally responsive and community driven.
We strongly encourage potential applicants to register for a WEBs account, which is Washington State’s Solicitation Management System, and to download the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) directly from WEBs. While a PDF of the NOF is included below, applicants should use WEBs when preparing and submitting proposals. You may access the solicitation through the WEBs link provided below.
