  • Makes 700,000 public and private places more accessible annually
  • Supports nearly 1 million people with disabilities each year in learning to advocate for themselves and fight discrimination
  • Provides education, support, and advocacy training for people with disabilities and their families
  • Enhances safety for over 1 million students with disabilities in schools annually
  • Ensures students with disabilities receive the services they need in inclusive school settings
  • Served 5 million Americans with disabilities through the Administration on Disabilities in 2023
  • Enabled over 161,000 people to receive independent living and self-advocacy training through State Developmental Disabilities Councils
  • Contributed to the improvement of 475 state policies and statutes through advocacy training and support
  • Supported the implementation of over 1,200 best practices for community living for Americans with disabilities in 2023 through State Developmental Disabilities Councils
